August 28th Big day at the scales at the Tuna $takes Invitational

Great fishing continued for the participants of the Tuna $takes Invitational.  They experienced great tuna chunking and even good trolling. Most of the boats had at least a half dozen fish on the “chunk” with the majority of the fish in the sixty to eighty pound class.  Change Order brought in a beautiful Allison Tuna to lead the division with its 110 pound slammer Yellowfin.  The Big “I” came into the wiegh station with full fish boxes of Yellowfin and a nice mahi that just fell short of first by several pounds… On the northern Front the BIG KID captained by Ken Gallop brought a nice 78.5lb yellowfin.  The Big Boy showed up to the scales with a 66.1 lb yellowfin…
